Your cool aunt
with a camera
Hi! I’m Charlie.
Yup, that’s me!
I bet you’re wondering how I ended up in this crazy, wonderful job.
Ten years ago, I wasn’t a family photographer.
I was a maths and English tutor. Honestly, it isn’t as different as it sounds. I still worked with families, heard their wild, wonderful stories, and helped people find their confidence. I’ve just swapped the textbooks for a camera.
When I was a kid, family photos meant three things: stiff poses, itchy outfits, and lights bright enough to interrogate a jewel thief! For my neurodivergent family, that translated to a day of stress, meltdowns, and smiles so fake you could hear them squeak.
Baby Charlie!
I believe family photos should actually feel like family: messy, joyful, a little chaotic, and totally real.
So when I made photography my life, I promised I’d be different.
No soulless studios. No fake laughs. And definitely no matching outfits that make you look like a denim-worship cult.
Instead, we chase the light, laugh until someone snorts, and catch those in-between moments you didn’t even know you wanted; the ones that are your family.
Because every single person has a story worth telling, and freezing those moments in time is the closest thing we have to actual magic.
If you want photographs that feel like you (and don’t end with everyone wondering if it’s too late to be adopted by another family), I’m your person! Let’s make something you’ll treasure forever. No dungaree dress code required.
